A Place at the Table Screening

Join us for a free screening of "A Place at the Table" at 7pm on Saturday, November 1 at Calvary United Methodist Church. The film highlights issues that are propelling a cycle of poverty and hunger in America. It also depicts the reality of food insecurity by telling the stories of three different families struggling to put food on the table. Following the screening, Boy Scout Jack Zimmerman, will make a presentation on his Eagle Project "Scout A Path to End Hunger", a meal-packaging event to assemble 40,000 meals for the hungry.

The film's running time is 84 minutes and is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Light refreshments served.

The church is located at 185 West Madison Ave. Enter the parking lot off Cooper St.
