Inequality for All

SEEDArts Cinema will present a socially relevant documentary at the Rainier Valley Cultural Center this spring. On May 17 at 7pm, we will screen Inequality For All.  Featuring former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich, the movie exposes the widening problem of income inequality in America; a problem Reich says “has been getting worse and worse for over 30 years.”  This film won the Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, 2013.

There will be a panel discussion directly following the film focusing on the current issue of raising the minimum wage in the City of Seattle to $15/hour. Our Panelists are Lance Matteson, Executive Director of SouthEast Effective Development and Mia Gregerson, Mayor of the City of SeaTac.

The film will be screen at the historic Rainier Valley Cultural Center (3515 S Alaska St, Seattle, WA 98118). The RVCC auditorium has recently been renovated to show films with a professional projector, a 16’ screen and 5.1 dolby surround sound. Admission is $5. For more information, visit
