A Place at the Table

The Detroit Lions Living for the City initiative is proud to present the charity screening of the critically acclaimed film, A Place at the Table—the award winning documentary staring Jeff Bridges that investigates incidents of food insecurity experienced my millions of Americans, and proposed solutions to the problem.  The Detroit Lions, Levy Restaurants, Eastern Market Corporation, Wayne State University School of Medicine and Gleaners, look forward to seeing you on June 11, 2013, 6:00pm ET at Ford Field’s Hall of Legends.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion led by some of the region’s most esteemed food economy experts, including policy makers, advocates, researchers and practitioners.   Donations will be accepted at the door. Proceeds to benefit Cooking Matters.

Parking: We recommend using the Ford Field Parking Deck located on St. Antoine Street.  There is a flat rate of $6.00.
