Engage Your Community

Film is one of the most effective ways to activate and engage your community. Whether you are striving to illuminate a topic or issue, create change, or simply start a conversation, showing a compelling film is the best way to do it.

The Screening License:

When you purchase an educational/public performance DVD from us, you then have the power to bring the film to your community in a capacity that makes sense to you. The included site-license allows you to show the film for 5 or 100 people, in an auditorium, church basement, or break-room… just as long as the screening does not take place in a commercial theater. All of the planning is left up to you, and while we would love for you to tell us about your screening through our ‘Host A Screening’ portal, we do not need to be involved in the planning of your event. And the good news is that the site-license doesn’t expire, so you can show the film an unlimited numbers of times without having to buy any further licensing.

Host a conversation

roco-comment.jpgOur website has all the tools you need to build a conversation online. Encourage your audience or students to interact with other audiences around the country. Each film page has a space for viewers to start a conversation.

Want to plan a discussion or activity after your screening but don’t have the time to do the research and prep work yourself? Don’t worry! Because most of our films include Discussion Guides, you will have a handy resource that can guide you in planning any discussion, panel, or activity around showing the film. The research is already done for you, and you will look like a pro!
