 A growing division of ro*co films international, ro*co educational launched in 2009 with the mission to advocate for documentary film as an educational tool, to bring these stories to schools, libraries, and other instructional environments across the country, and to broaden the impact and influence of our films by mobilizing communities to host, organize, and execute their own public screening events. Whether you are striving to illuminate a topic or issue, create change, or simply start a conversation, showing a compelling film is the best way to do it.

Kristin Cooney is Managing Director of ro*co films educational.

Along with managing all operations associated with educational and semi-theatrical sales and distribution, Kristin works closely with universities, libraries, non-profit organizations, corporations, and various other institutions to execute screenings and events, enhance curriculum, promote acquisitions, and to broaden the use and impact of documentary film.

Kristin joined ro*co in 2009 with a professional background in market analysis, advertising, and research psychology. Kristin holds a BA is Sociology from UCLA and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. 

Kristin lives in Marin County with her husband and two children. 





Dana Clark is the Director of Operations at ro*co films educational.  

Dana oversees and executes all business operations, which includes fulfillment and shipping, inventory management, customer service, client relations and generally supporting the educational division as needed.  She also researches and analyzes the needs of universities and other educational institutions to best match their needs with ro*co’s outstanding films and customized services.

Dana joined the ro*co team in 2011 after an extended time raising her children and acting as a lead school volunteer.  She came to ro*co with a professional background as a senior purchasing agent and contracts specialist.  Dana holds a BA in Organizational Communication with a Business minor from Chico State University.
